Children’s Book ‘Little Santa’ Comes to Life in Animated Feature Film from Apple

Synopsis: Little Santa follows young Santa Claus on a trek through the North Pole, meeting and inspiring the offbeat friends who will create Christmas and remind the world to believe.

Directed by Peter Baynton (The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland).

Written by Martin Hynes (Toy Story 4).

Based on the book by Jon Agee.

Original songs by Bret McKenzie (Flight of the Conchords).

Apple has not announced whether the film will receive a theatrical run before streaming on Apple TV.

Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the ‘Peanuts’ Crew Will Stay on Apple TV+ Until 2030

Apple TV+, WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions have announced a five-year extension to their previous deal that made Apple TV+ the exclusive streaming home for all things Peanuts.

The new deal includes the classic Peanuts library, as well as plans for new series and specials. A new animated feature film is also in development.

Those without an Apple TV+ subscription can enjoy following three classic holiday specials for free: “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” available October 18–19; “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving,” available November 15–16; and “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” available December 13–14.

‘Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical’ Trailer and Release Date: 40-Minute Apple TV+ Special Marks First ‘Peanuts’ Musical in 35 Years

Release date: August 15, 2025 on Apple TV+.

Synopsis: Charlie Brown loves camp and is determined to make his final year special, but Sally, a first-time camper, is nervous and skeptical of the new and unfamiliar place.

While everyone settles into camp, Snoopy and Woodstock discover a treasure map that takes them on a wild adventure nearby.

One morning, the Peanuts gang learns that their beloved camp is shutting down because fewer campers are joining each summer. The news especially saddens Charlie Brown, who feels hopeless about losing a place that has meant so much to him and his friends.

Meanwhile, on their adventure, Snoopy and Woodstock find the sought-after treasure chest, but are quickly disappointed when they discover it’s not riches, but instruments and photos from past summer concerts held at the camp.

Newly inspired, Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang use the treasure to host their own concert to save the camp.
