Synopsis: Fourteen years after the Paris Commune, the past is far from dead.

A young man from the provinces arrives with a strange new device and confronts former Communards with memories they have tried to survive.

What begins as a demonstration quickly brings back the ghosts of 1871 and the violence of the repression that followed.
