Pixar’s 2009 movie, Up, will be written and directed by Monsters, Inc.’s Pete Docter, along with Finding Nemo’s Bob Peterson.
“I think it’s a really great, emotional, whimsical [story],” Brad Bird said in an interview while promoting the upcoming DVD release of Ratatouille. “It’s not like any other Pixar film.”
The story will be aimed at a more mature audience and, according to rumors, will tell the story of a 70-year-old man who teams up with a wilderness ranger to fight monsters.
