Short Film Spotlight: IT Came From Beyond The Drain

Filmmaker Adam Ciolfi describes IT Came From Beyond The Drain as the story of “a man and his dog [who] must defend themselves from a creature that erupts from beneath their kitchen sink.”

Speaking about the 25 months of work needed to bring the project to life, Ciolfi said:

“It’s fair to say that the early days of production can be overwhelming. The lists, materials, designs, sculptures, story boarding, animating, etc… when you work alone it’s a daunting task to say the least. But slowly I work my way through each phase of production and even though I can see it coming, the day it all ends always comes as a shock.”

I highly recommend not just the short film, but also visiting Ciolfi’s website for tons of behind-the-scenes info and photographs.
