HBO Max & GKIDS Expand Partnership as 20 Acclaimed Japanese Films Roll Out Beginning September 1

HBO Max and GKIDS have extended and expanded their partnership, adding twenty more films from award-winning filmmakers to the streaming platform.

On September 1, the following films will premiere on HBO Max:

‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle’ IMAX Trailer and Poster Released As Tickets Become Available for Advance Purchase

Release date: September 12, 2025.

Synopsis: Tanjiro Kamado joined the Demon Slayer Corps after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon.

With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira, the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen, rush to the headquarters, only to be plunged into a mysterious place known as the Infinity Castle.

And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the Demons ignites.

Disney Jr. Unveils Slate of New Series and Specials, Including ‘Cars: Lightning Racers’ & ‘Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team-Up!’

Disney Jr.’s new series and specials were revealed at the recent “Disney Jr. Let’s Play!” fan celebration at Disney California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney District.

Let’s kick things off with Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team-Up! — two new 22-minute specials, the first of which premieres October 16 and sees Iron Man and the Avengers joining Spidey to stop Ultron and Green Goblin from taking control of the city’s devices.

A second Halloween-themed special will premiere Fall 2026.

Cars: Lightning Racers follows Lightning McQueen as he gears up for all-new adventures in Radiator Springs alongside his friends Mater, Pipes (a thrill-seeking drag car) and Miles (a mud-loving monster truck).

Synopsis: In a faraway land where the rain never stops, six-year-old Kyna spends her days playing carelessly with her dog Nana under the protective “umbrella beard” of her father, Din, who let it grow in order to shelter Kyna, who developed a fear of rain on the day she was born.

One night, Kyna’s life turns upside down when Nana disappears. To find her, Kyna will have to embark on an adventure of self discovery and she will be bound to face her great fear, the rain.

Synopsis: Mini Greta, our protagonist, wants to travel by public transport. This seemingly simple task gets complicated once she gets confronted with her fellow travelers.

Their rudeness moves Greta to the brink of her self control. It gets so bad that she unloads her anger on a tiny bird that is looking for a seat as well. What unfolds next is a drama that can only be ended by the next stop.
