Humphrey is an Omega wolf, whose days are about quick wit and snappy one-liners. Kate is an Alpha: duty, discipline and sleek moves. Humphrey’s motto – make ‘em laugh. Kate’s motto – I’m the boss. The fine folks over at /film have gotten their hands on a 15 second clip of Pixar’s upcoming short film, Day & Night. The short will screen before Toy Story 3, in theaters June 18, 2010. Click the image below to view the clip.
When Day, a sunny fellow, encounters Night, a stranger of distinctly darker moods, sparks fly! Day and Night are frightened and suspicious of each other at first, and quickly get off on the wrong foot. But as they discover each other’s unique qualities–and come to realize that each of them offers a different window onto the same world–the friendship helps both to gain a new perspective.
Release date: April 8, 2011.
Synopsis: Set in the city of Rio de Janeiro and the rainforest of Brazil, Rio centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind.
When Blu discovers there’s another — and that she’s a she — he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio to find her.
