But then Stella, a Star-Belly Sneetch, met Pearl, a Moon-Belly Sneetch, and they realized Sneetches are Sneetches, and no one kind of Sneetch is the best on the beaches.

Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax announced

Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have revealed plans to bring a 3D animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ “The Lorax” to theaters, reports Variety.

The film will be directed by Chris Renaud and Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio from a script by Paul & Daurio, and is set for release March 2, 2012.

The Lorax is narrated by a greedy entrepreneur, who, despite warnings from the tree-loving Lorax, cuts down a forest of Truffula trees to make clothing, destroying the ecosystem and forcing the animals to leave.

‘Horton Hears a Who!’ DVD and Blu-ray Announced

Fox announced today that Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who! will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray on December 9, 2008. The animated film stars Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Carol Burnett.

The Horton Hears A Who! Blu-ray Disc will be presented in widescreen format on a 25GB single-layer disc authored in AVC (MPEG 4) compression with English 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio, Spanish/French 5.1 Dolby Digital plus English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and French subtitles.
