97th Academy Awards: ‘The Wild Robot’ Earns Three Oscar Nominations, Underdog ‘Flow’ Nabs Two

The 97th Oscars air live March 2, 2025 at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on ABC and Hulu in the United States and in more than 200 territories worldwide.

Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang announced the nominations today at 5:30 a.m. PT, live from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

Pixar’s ‘Win or Lose’ Starring Will Forte Gets Official Trailer Before Its February 19 Release on Disney+

Release date: February 19, 2025 on Disney+.

Synopsis: Win or Lose follows the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game.

The series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of each character — the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire — with funny, emotional and uniquely animated perspectives.

‘Bluey’ Movie: Bandit, Chilli, Bingo and Bluey Heading to the Big Screen in 2027

BBC Studios and The Walt Disney Company have announced that a Bluey feature film will premiere in theaters worldwide in 2027, followed by a Disney+ release — likely three to four months later. It will also air on ABC iView and ABC Kids in Australia.

Written and directed by series creator Joe Brumm, the film will continue the heartwarming adventures of Bluey, her parents Bandit and Chilli and her little sister Bingo.

Brumm said: “I really enjoyed the experience of working with a longer format on ‘The Sign’ in [season] 3, so going even further with a feature film feels like a natural extension of that. I’ve always thought Bluey deserved a theatrical movie. I want this to be an experiential event for the whole family to enjoy together.”

Release date: 2025 on Disney Channel and Disney+.

Synopsis: The action-adventure series follows Leo, an ordinary 12-year-old boy with an extraordinary talent and a huge problem.

The once-thriving world of Iko is in tatters at the mercy of the Giants who rule the 10 realms. Only one hero can save them… and he’s the size of a flea.

Young Leo is plucked from another world to lead the fight against the tyrannical villains who have kept the 10 realms under their control.

Developed by Guy Toubes (Transformers: Robots in Disguise) and Dan Creteur (Miraculous).
