‘Rick and Morty’ Spin-Off Series Coming to Adult Swim: ‘President Curtis’ Stars Keith David, Stephanie Beatriz and Jim Rash

Adult Swim announced today President Curtis, a new adult animated comedy set in the Rick and Morty universe, starring Keith David.

Synopsis: President Curtis follows the Commander-in-Chief and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kind of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with — from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena.

“President Curtis has always been a blast to play,” said David. “Getting to explore his world more deeply in this new series is a dream. I can’t wait for fans to see what kind of chaos he stirs up when Rick isn’t around to steal the spotlight.”

The series is co-created by Rick and Morty Executive Producers Dan Harmon and James Siciliano.

Stephanie Beatriz (Encanto, Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Jim Rash (Community, Harley Quinn) also star.

‘Robot Chicken: The Complete Series’ Releasing This October: DVD Box Set Includes Specials Themed Around ‘Star Wars,’ ‘The Walking Dead’ and More

Release date: October 7, 2025.

Robot Chicken: The Complete Series celebrates 20 years of the Adult Swim television program that pioneered its own genre: late-night, quarter-hour stop-motion animated sketch comedy.

For the first time ever, 228 Robot Chicken episodes — including specials themed around DC, Star Wars, The Walking Dead, Archie Comics and Christmas — will be available in one definitive collection. Also included is an exclusive 20th anniversary bonus feature that includes many past guest stars.

Created and executive produced by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, Robot Chicken has won six Emmys, three ASCAP awards and two Annie awards.

‘Women Wearing Shoulder Pads’: Official Trailer and Release Date Unveiled for Adult Swim’s First-Ever Spanish-Language Series

Release date: August 17, 2025 on Adult Swim. Next day on HBO Max.

Synopsis: Women Wearing Shoulder Pads follows Marioneta, a proud wealthy Spaniard living in 1980s Quito, Ecuador. There she encounters a diverse group of eccentric and ambitious women navigating the complicated worlds of love, family, and cuys.

The stop-motion series, created by Gonzalo Cordova, features an all-woman cast and is produced entirely in Spanish with English subtitles.

Robot Chicken celebrated its 20th anniversary this February. It has won six Emmys, most recently in 2022 for “Outstanding Short Form Animated Program.”

Synopsis: The year is 2052. The world looked to be on the verge of an unprecedented era of peace and stability, and the painkiller drug “Hapna” developed by a lauded neuroscientist Dr. Skinner had a lot to do with it.

Hapna spread throughout the world as a “miracle drug” with no side effects, freeing humanity from pain. Until, that is, Skinner suddenly disappears off the face of the earth. When he reemerges after three years, it is as a devil who brings countless deaths and the end of civilization.

Hapna turns out to be a drug that has a fatal, retroactive effect, one that appears three years after first taking it; it was a death-trap for anyone who took it, even once. Humanity will start dying off in 30 days. The only way to save the world is to acquire the cure that only Skinner holds.

“Lazarus” is a team of five agents gathered from various corners of the world to do just that. Can they save humanity? And what is Skinner’s true purpose?
