‘Bluey’ Movie: Bandit, Chilli, Bingo and Bluey Heading to the Big Screen in 2027

BBC Studios and The Walt Disney Company have announced that a Bluey feature film will premiere in theaters worldwide August 6, 2027, followed by a Disney+ release — likely three to four months later. It will also air on ABC iView and ABC Kids in Australia.

Written and directed by series creator Joe Brumm, the film will continue the heartwarming adventures of Bluey, her parents Bandit and Chilli and her little sister Bingo.

Brumm said: “I really enjoyed the experience of working with a longer format on ‘The Sign’ in [season] 3, so going even further with a feature film feels like a natural extension of that. I’ve always thought Bluey deserved a theatrical movie. I want this to be an experiential event for the whole family to enjoy together.”
