According to studio estimates Sunday, Toy Story 3 (as expected) took the No. 1 spot this weekend, raking in $110.3 million in domestic ticket sales.
Toy Story 3 became the third animated film to open with over $100 million in the first weekend. The other two are Shrek the Third with $121.6 million and Shrek 2 with $108 million.
Congrats to director Lee Unkrich and the rest of the film’s incredibly talented crew.
