MGM Home Entertainment announced today that “Spaceballs: The Totally Warped Animated Adventures!†is coming to DVD December 29. The animated half-hour episodes pick up where the cult-classic feature film left off, showcasing parody of pop culture for a new generation of fans, including imitations of James Bond, Harry Potter and the video game “Grand Theft Auto.â€
Executive produced and co-created by Mel Brooks, “Spaceballs: The Totally Warped Animated Adventures!†reprises the roles of the original Spaceballs cast, including Joan Rivers as the droid Dot Matrix, Daphne Zuniga as Princess Vespa and Brooks as the comic sage Yogurt. Joining the fight against the evil Dark Helmet are characters Captain Lone Starr and his half-human-half-canine sidekick, Barf.
The DVD features intermission shorts between each of the four episodes, along with extra bonus features:

Lionsgate is set to release an all-new CGI animated feature Gotta Catch Santa Claus, starring William Shatner as the voice of Santa. When a friend starts to doubt the idea of Santa Claus, 12 year old Trevor sets out on a mission to catch old St. Nick in order to prove his existence and put the skeptics to rest. Gotta Catch Santa Claus, which will be broadcast nationally on ABC Family during their annual “25 Days of Christmas” programming block, features bonus materials on the DVD that include deleted scenes, behind the scenes Santa footage, sing-along songs and more. The DVD will be available on October 13th.
The all-new Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death DVD will be available Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Winner of the Short Animation 2008 British Academy Film Award, this new adventure features all of the ingredients of a great murder mystery – suspicion, rivalry, love, intrigue and heroism – and is topped off with a helping of loyalty and friendship.

Battle for Terra, a sci-fi animated film featuring the voices of Luke Wilson, Evan Rachel Wood, Dennis Quaid, Danny Glover and James Garner, will make its way onto DVD and Blu-ray September 22nd.
The DVD and Blu-ray discs are loaded with bonus materials including a “Making Of†featurette, audio commentary with director Aristomenis Tsirbas, deleted scenes, original storyboards and more.
Synopsis: When the peaceful inhabitants of the beautiful planet Terra come under attack from the last surviving members of humanity adrift in an aging spaceship, the stage is set for an all-out war between the two species for control of the planet. But will an unlikely friendship between a rebellious young Terrian and an injured human pilot somehow convince their leaders that war is not the answer?

FOX today revealed details for the upcoming “Futurama: The Complete Collection 1999-2009” 19-disc set scheduled for release on October 13th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The set includes all 72 episodes, as well as the four feature length adventures – Bender’s Big Score, The Beast With A Billion Backs, Bender’s Game and Into The Wild Green Yonder.
Cancelled after five seasons, an outcry from the fans and the show’s success on DVD helped revive Futurama for four all-new adventures (mentioned above) that debuted on DVD in 2007-2009. Recently the series has been resurrected again for its sixth season set to air on Comedy Central in 2010.
This collection is highly collectible, with only 25,000 copies being produced one time ever. It’s packed with bonus materials including a letter from the Futurama creator Matt Groening and producer David X. Cohen, commentary from various cast members, numerous deleted scenes, an interactive still gallery, blooper reels and more.

The highly anticipated Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death arrives on DVD Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment.
In this new adventure, Wallace and Gromit have opened a new bakery business “Top Bun” but a deadly murderer is targeting all the bakers in town. Wallace couldn’t care as he’s found true love in the shape of Piella Bakewell, former star of the Bake-O-Lite bread commercials. Can Gromit discover the identity of the Cereal Killer before Wallace becomes the next victim?
