Le Cri du Silence screened at 56 film festivals and won 10 awards, including Best Animation Short at France’s Festival FESTIMAJ.

Gnome, written and directed by Sacha Goedegebure, tells the story of a gnome who finds a caterpillar struggling to reach for leaves outside his house. The gnome helps by cutting down and stacking leaves for the caterpillar. But the gnome soon regrets his act of kindness when the caterpillar’s gnawing keeps him from falling asleep. How far will the gnome go to sleep peacefully?

Filmmaker Adam Ciolfi describes IT Came From Beyond The Drain as the story of “a man and his dog [who] must defend themselves from a creature that erupts from beneath their kitchen sink.”

Speaking about the 25 months of work needed to bring the project to life, Ciolfi said:

“It’s fair to say that the early days of production can be overwhelming. The lists, materials, designs, sculptures, story boarding, animating, etc… when you work alone it’s a daunting task to say the least. But slowly I work my way through each phase of production and even though I can see it coming, the day it all ends always comes as a shock.”

“Locked up in their own apartments, some neighbors tell the camera about the little troubles of life in a community. Little by little, when everything piles up, it’s enough to drive one mad.”

Synopsis: A man suffering from depression is caught in a sudden downpour of pink, fluffy balls. At a crowded bus stop, a cheerful looking woman offers him a spot under her umbrella, and together they enjoy the soft rain.
