Nissan has successfully merged high-action 3D animation with marketing, creating an exciting series of commercials for their Juke vehicle. In this video, the third in the series, the Juke makes its way through treacherous terrain and weather, arriving at a massive fire pit. Subaru has created a zoetrope style animation by illustrating the entire commercial frame by frame on the side wall of a test track, and then driving a camera attached to a WRX one foot away from the wall. Check it out below, and also check out the “making of” video after the break.
